Sinob

Sinob is the German brand that refuses proprietary blends and provides lot analysis for every serial number. A deliberately streamlined range — Honest Whey+, Creapure Core, raw amino acids, short micronutrition — where everything is transparently listed on the label. For us, it's a pleasant surprise compared to more well-known German brands.

Who is Sinob?

Sinob — written #sinob on labels, with the hashtag — is a German sports nutrition brand, published by #sinob GmbH, located in Grande, Schleswig-Holstein, near Hamburg. Its products are manufactured in Germany, and the brand proudly advertises this as a selling point.

Its positioning relies on two keywords that it repeats everywhere: #honest and #nobullshit. Concretely, this translates into three commitments that can be verified on the packaging: no proprietary blends, meaning no formulas where multiple ingredients are grouped under a single total that conceals the actual dosages; the name of the raw material supplier written on the container when identifiable; and a searchable analysis for each product and each batch, accessible via the serial number printed on the packaging.

The catalog is organized into distinct lines — Black Line, Core Line, Pharma Line, Tasty Line — with the Core Line encompassing raw, single-ingredient products without flavorings or additives, and the Black Line featuring refined formulas. In France, the brand is not distributed in supermarkets; it goes through specialized retailers, of which we are one.

How good is the Sinob range?

Sinob excels where its promise of transparency has concrete meaning, i.e., for simple products. For a single ingredient — creatine, glutamine, beta-alanine, citrulline, arginine — there is nothing to hide behind: either the powder is pure and the raw material named, or it is not. This is precisely where the brand is most convincing, and it is also where the price difference with the most visible German brands narrows the most.

Daily micronutrition is handled in the same spirit: short, clear formulas, without an excessive stacking of active ingredients at symbolic doses. The same applies to workout carbohydrates and dietary groceries, which remain straightforward products.

What it handles less well is the protein section. Sinob does not match the product range depth of a generalist manufacturer: we only list one protein powder from them, a concentrate enriched with isolate. No standalone isolate, no casein, no clear whey, no gainer. Also absent is the stimulating booster category: if you are looking for a caffeinated pre-workout, you will have to get it elsewhere.

What are the flagship Sinob products we sell?

Protein

Honest Whey+ is the product that made the brand known. It is an ultrafiltered whey concentrate combined with an isolate obtained by cross-flow filtration, using Irish Volac raw material, named on the label. The protein content varies slightly depending on the flavor, which the brand acknowledges rather than displaying a single rounded figure: this is precisely the kind of detail that distinguishes an honest label from a commercial one.

Creatine and amino acids

Two creatines coexist. Creapure Core is a monohydrate bearing the Creapure® label, whose raw material is produced in Bavaria, without flavoring or additives. Hydro Creat is a creatine HCL, a more soluble form that interests those for whom monohydrate causes digestive issues — although no performance advantage over monohydrate, which is significantly cheaper, has been demonstrated.

As for amino acids, Juiced EAA covers essential amino acids in a vegan version, and Juiced BCAA covers BCAAs. The Core Line is supplemented with L-Glutamine, AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate), pure beta-alanine, and citrulline malate, all in unflavored powder, to be dosed by oneself.

Carbohydrates and groceries

Cluster Dextrin and maltodextrin hold the training carbohydrates section, the former being a low-osmolarity cyclic dextrin, the latter the classic fast carbohydrate. Instant Rice Pudding is a sports rice pudding to prepare, a cousin of our rice creams. Flasty is a sugar-free flavored powder intended to flavor quark or cake batter: a product of flavors and sweeteners, not a supplement.

Micronutrition and comfort

All Day Every Day is the daily multivitamin complex in the range. Additionally, there's a zinc bisglycinate, a curcumin with 95% curcuminoids combined with piperine, Collagen Flex & Glow with bioactive collagen peptides, Complete Mobility Forte for joint comfort similar to our glucosamine formulas, a Greens & Reds fruit and vegetable powder, and Melato9, an evening formula based on melatonin.

Our retailer's opinion

What works. This is one of the rare brands where verification can be completed: the batch number refers to an analysis, raw materials are named, and Core Line formulas contain nothing more than the advertised active ingredient. For a customer who wants to know exactly what they are consuming, it offers the best record in our range. The price per kilo, for both protein and amino acids, also remains below that of the most well-known German brands for the general public: this is what makes it, for us, the benchmark for good value for money compared to ESN Nutrition.

The main limitation, and it is structural: the range is narrow where volume is made. Only one protein powder, no standalone isolate, no casein, no gainer, no stimulating pre-workout. A customer who wants to build their entire supplementation from a single manufacturer cannot do so with Sinob: they will have to supplement half of it elsewhere. This is consistent with the brand's philosophy, which prefers a few well-maintained references over an exhaustive catalog, but it is a real constraint when filling a shopping cart.

Two secondary reservations. The choice of flavors is more limited than with brands for whom this is their main business, and the Core Line powders are intentionally neutral, thus not very pleasant to drink with plain water — they are meant to be mixed, not drunk alone. Finally, as the brand is not well-known in France, second-hand sales and French comparisons are rare: you will find fewer reviews than for a major American name.

Sinob or ESN?

Two German brands, two opposing logics, and the question comes up almost every week at the counter.

ESN Nutrition focuses on taste and solubility: that's where it stands out, and that's what keeps customers coming back. Its range is broader, its flavors more numerous, its price per kilo of protein higher. Sinob focuses on verifiability and price: fewer flavors, fewer references, but more extensive traceability and a lower cost per gram of protein.

In practice: if you've never finished a container because you got tired of the taste, choose ESN Nutrition; the extra cost buys something real. If you read labels and the price per kilo is your primary criterion, choose Sinob. And if you're looking to cover a wide range with a single brand—proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, plants—then check out IO Genix, which excels in this area.

Frequently Asked Questions

How good is Sinob's Honest Whey+?

This is the product that made the brand, and it delivers on its promises across the three important criteria. The raw material is named — Irish-sourced Volac base — which is still rare: most brands do not indicate where their whey comes from. The composition is a concentrated blend plus isolate, which strikes a good balance between protein content and texture: richer than a simple concentrate, creamier than a pure isolate. And the announced protein content varies according to the flavor, which seems anecdotal but is not: it is the physical reality of a flavored powder, and displaying it rather than rounding everyone to a round number says a lot about the method. The weak point is the choice of flavors, which is more limited than with taste specialists. To compare honestly with another brand, always refer to the price per kilo of protein, not the price per tub.

What is Flasty?

A sugar-free flavoring powder, and not a food supplement — the distinction is important. It is used to flavor things that are not flavored: quark, skyr, porridge, cake batter, protein pancakes. A few grams are enough, and the caloric intake is negligible. It has the same use as our flavorings and sweeteners, with a practical advantage: powder is easier to dose than liquid drops of flavor in a thick preparation. Two tips: under-dose initially, you can always add more; and let it sit in the fridge for ten minutes before tasting, the flavor needs this time to diffuse.

What is Sinob's Pharma Line?

This is the name the brand gives to its micronutrition and comfort line — vitamins, minerals, standardized extracts — as opposed to the Black Line (developed training formulas), the Core Line (raw single-ingredient products, unflavored), and the Tasty Line (gourmet products). A clarification to avoid misunderstanding: the word "pharma" does not mean that these are medicines, nor that these products are subject to pharmaceutical regulation. They are food supplements, like the rest of the section. The term refers to a positioning — targeted formulas, precise dosages, sober presentation — not a regulatory status.

Is Sinob a good brand?

Yes, with a scope reservation. For single ingredients and micronutrition, it is one of the most serious offerings we sell, because everything is verifiable. For protein, the offer is limited to a single product: excellent, but unique. Therefore, judge the brand product by product, not as a whole.

What is the best Sinob product to start with?

Honest Whey+ if you're simply looking to increase your protein intake, or Creapure Core if you already get your protein elsewhere: it's the best-documented supplement in the range, and the labeled version costs little more. These two are enough to cover the essentials.

Where to buy Sinob in France?

From specialized sports nutrition retailers, both online and in-store. The brand is not available in major French retail chains. We stock it on our shelves and ship throughout France and Europe.

How to verify that a Sinob product is authentic?

This is the brand's strength: each package bears a lot number that refers to a traceable analysis. A container without a readable number, without French labeling affixed by the importer, or offered significantly below market price on a marketplace, should be avoided. We source our products through the official channel.

Is Sinob suitable for athletes subject to anti-doping controls?

No food supplement can be considered risk-free by default, and we do not claim any third-party anti-doping certification for this range. If you compete under control, check the batch status with the manufacturer and refer to the list of prohibited substances published by the AFLD, rather than relying on a brand's reputation.

Are Sinob products too sweet?

No, and the opposite complaint is more common. The Core Line powders are neutral, without flavor or sweetener, which surprises those new to the brand. Flavored products remain moderately sweetened. If taste is your primary criterion, this is not the brand to aim for.

Is Sinob's price justified?

For single ingredients, yes: you pay for a named raw material and a searchable analysis, at a price per gram that remains within the average for the category. For protein, the calculation is done as everywhere else, at the price per kilo of protein and not the price per tub — this is the only figure that allows comparison between two labels.

Does Sinob offer a pre-workout?

No classic stimulating booster among what we list. However, the ingredients usually found in this type of formula exist separately in the Core Line — beta-alanine, citrulline, arginine — allowing you to compose your own blend, knowing each dose. It's more tedious, and significantly cheaper.

Where to see the Sinob range near Montpellier?

Sinob products are on our shelves in our Vendargues store, about ten minutes from Montpellier, at 285 rue des Portes Domitiennes. For a brand whose main argument is the label, holding the product in hand changes the conversation: we read the composition together, compare the price per kilo of protein with nearby references, and sometimes we guide you towards something else.

If you can't visit, the range is available for online order, and we ship throughout France and Europe.
