Sports nutrition in Le Grau-du-Roi: whey, protein, and creatine

Looking for sports nutrition in Petite Camargue? Our store is in Vendargues, east of Montpellier, by the RN 113 — a forty-minute drive via the D62 then the A709. Athletes from Le Grau-du-Roi, Aigues-Mortes, Saint-Laurent-d'Aigouze, Vauvert, and Saint-Gilles order from us or visit the counter. This page explains both methods, with real delivery times and real prices.

Why come from Petite Camargue to Vendargues?

Let's be frank: for a generic tub of whey, you don't need to make the trip. What makes the difference with us comes down to three things, and they can all be verified on a label.

Named raw materials, not "whey proteins"

Most brands write "whey protein isolate" on their ingredient list and stop there. You don't know where the powder comes from or who produced it. The ranges we have chosen do the opposite: they name their supplier, and it is verifiable.

  • Whey Sublime is based on Lacprodan® SP-8011, a whey concentrate produced by Danish dairy company Arla Foods Ingredients — the supplier is named on the label, which very few brands do.
  • Isolate Professional uses PROMIKO® CFM, obtained by cold cross-flow microfiltration — a mechanical filtration on a membrane, not an ion exchange.
  • Micellar casein comes from Fonterra, in New Zealand.
  • Glutamine and arginine carry the Kyowa Quality label from Japanese company Kyowa Hakko, obtained by vegetable fermentation.

The Creapure® label, with the license number on the tub

Sinob's Core Creapure® is the clearest example of what we mean by traceability. The raw material is produced by AlzChem at its Trostberg site in Bavaria. The manufacturer declares more than 99.9% creatine monohydrate and production in a closed system. Most importantly, the Creapure® license number 19SN14 is printed on the packaging: an identifier verifiable with the raw material producer. What this label guarantees exactly is detailed on our Creapure section.

In the same vein, Sinob manufactures in Germany, names its raw material supplier, and numbers its batches. Protéalpes manufactures in France, with three ingredients per flavor and nothing else.

Product sheets that also state what they don't know

Read any product sheet on this site. When a manufacturer doesn't publish a value — residual lactose content, kilojoule value, ingredient dosage — we write it in black and white instead of filling the gap with an average found elsewhere. And we do not write any health claims that are not authorized in Europe.

Getting delivery in Petite Camargue

This is the solution for most of our customers in this area. Any order placed before 2 p.m. is shipped the same day, Monday to Saturday.

  • Mondial Relay pick-up point — €5.90, free for orders over €50. The most used method, with pick-up points in Le Grau-du-Roi, Aigues-Mortes, and Vauvert.
  • Chronopost home delivery — €6.90, 24 to 48 hours delivery time.
  • Express — €10.90, within 24 hours, when you're running low.

An honest clarification that we repeat everywhere on the site: shipped the same day does not mean delivered the next day. We control the package preparation, not the carrier's route. On the coast, allow an extra day in July and August. Full details are on our delivery page.

Coming to the store from Le Grau-du-Roi

Allow approximately 45 km and 40 minutes, via Aigues-Mortes then the A709, Vendargues exit. From Vauvert or Saint-Gilles, the journey passes through the N113 and takes a little less time.

The game-changing tip: order online and choose in-store pickup. Your order will be ready within 2 hours, you won't make the trip for nothing, and you'll be sure the product is in stock. This is particularly useful for large items — gainers, multi-kilogram packs — where shipping is expensive.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best sports nutrition brand?

There isn't one, and be wary of any salesperson who tells you otherwise. What can be compared are three lines on a label: the protein content of the finished powder, the raw material used, and the price per gram of protein. A brand that names its supplier — Creapure®, Lacprodan®, Fonterra, Kyowa Quality — allows you to do this work.

How to choose your whey well?

First, look at the number of grams of protein per serving and the serving size: this is the real rate, and it allows you to compare two tubs. An isolate ranges from 85 to 92%, a concentrate from 70 to 82%. Isolate is only justified if you have difficulty digesting lactose, are cutting, or if you take several shakes per day. Otherwise, concentrate is the best purchase.

Which creatine to choose?

Creatine monohydrate, and nothing else: it's the most documented and cheapest form. The only remaining criterion is the traceability of the raw material. A tub bearing the Creapure® label with a printed license number tells you exactly where the powder comes from. Forms sold at a higher price do not provide any proven benefit at an equal dose.

Which food supplement to take for muscle recovery?

In order: first, cover your daily protein intake, which is the most important factor. Only then come essential amino acids, useful if you train on an empty stomach or if your intake is low. Glutamine comes in third, and its benefit is low if your diet is already rich in protein.

Do you deliver to the Gard department?

Yes, under the exact same conditions as in the Hérault: shipped the same day before 2 p.m., free pick-up point from €50, home delivery at €6.90. The department changes neither the prices nor the delivery times.

How long does it take to receive my order in Le Grau-du-Roi?

Order placed before 2 p.m.: shipped the same day. Then the carrier's delivery time applies, 24 to 48 business hours depending on the chosen method. During peak season, allow an extra day.

Can I order online and pick it up?

Yes, and we recommend this if you're making the trip. Choose in-store pickup when ordering: it will be ready within 2 hours during our opening hours, and you won't pay for shipping.

Is there parking?

Yes, the store is in a business park along the RN 113, with parking available in front.
